Charolais went in as underdogs after they were beaten in the major semi-final by Loopers 14-11 and had their Captain Sean Jenkins unavailable for the decider due to other commitments.
Charolais stunned the more fancied Loopers by taking the opening two rubbers to establish a quick 4-0 lead.
Loopers got themselves back into the contest, tying it up at 6-all and then 8-all deep into the match.
Loopers grabbed their first lead of the night at 10-9 but Charolais won the last singles rubber 2-0 to hold a slender 11-10 edge entering the doubles.
Charolais completed the boil-over by winning the first doubles 2-0 to clinch the title, 13-10.
Similar to last week's performance, no one stood out for Charolais in what was a true team effort.
Peter Jaccoud finished at 4-2, Dave Mays 4-4 and Pauline Wellfare 3-4 as they proved too consistent for Loopers.
Mark McAulay (6-1) did all he could for Loopers, while Roy Barlow ended square at 4-4 and Michael Wood was well down on form, going 0-6.
The Winter competition for 2020 is set to commence in early February. Interested players should contact Pauline Wellfare (0432265624) for more information.
The Association thanks the Mercury for the space it has been afforded most weeks throughout the year and wishes outgoing editor Kirsty Horton all the best in her future endeavours.
